After landing on the Island of Tortola and arriving in Road Town, you first breathe in the exceptional air of the caribbean. Not only the starting point of our route, Road Town is also the busiest city of the BVIs - from museums and sights like the J.R. O’Neal Botanic Garden to gourmet restaurants and shopping streets, this city has it all.
Surrounded by gorgeous bays with all shades of blue, shallow or deep waters, and mysterious sea caverns to explore with unseen underwater animal and plant life. After all the activities at sea, the Willy T’s is the place to let the day fade out, a famous restaurant swimming at sea.
Spanish Town, being the second biggest town of the BVIs, serves us as a hub of activities and starting point for trips to the inland of Virgin Gorda.
What makes this island the precious gem of the BVIs is not only its unmatched flora and fauna, but also its origin. The only coral island of the BVIs makes up for a different experience - completely flat and stretched out. Delicious lobster dinners, giant flocks of flamingos and a whole lot more to discover by touring the island of Anegada.
Spacious, white sand beach with waves, where your inner-surfer goes “woah, dude!” The brave ones among yourselves wouldn’t want to miss the opportunity to ride the waves and feel like Big Z from Surf’s Up - with a view where even Big Z would envy you! But don’t worry, you don’t have to step foot on a surfboard to enjoy Cane Garden Bay, relaxing under a sunshade with an ice-cold beer and watching the amateur surfers crumble is also really fun!
Just a jump away from Tortola these three Islands lie waiting for you with white sand beaches and premium resorts and spas - and exclusive places to discover such as the Honeymoon Beach, where every minute feels like the honeymoon you imagined - even if you never really married.
The Baths
What looks like a man-made adventure park is a naturally formed rock formation at the beach right next to the paradisiacal beaches of Devil’s Bay. Swimming, snorkeling, climbing and much more to find - certainly a must-stop for everyone sailing the caribbean.
The Leverick Bay Marina and the Saba Rock Resort are definitely the most beautiful places on our route. Where accessibility and beauty live in total harmony. A must-see is the special pirate show “Aaarh!”
Scrub island is a precious spot for gourmets and holiday ressort lovers. A ferry will take you from Trellis Bay, which is just next to the airport. A perfect spot for the first cocktail of your holiday trip through the BVIs.
Let us come to the question that matters the most on a holiday: Where do we go out? Fortunately the BVIs have a whole island dedicated to this matter. Jost van Dyke, once an island for the harvest of sugar canes - now the island is the must-see for everyone who has at least the slightest bit of party in themself and the origin of the famous and must-drink cocktail, namely the “Painkiller”. From beach bars with live music to nightclubs to really go hog wild - this island caters to every party-goers taste! A night partying and going out on this island will be a proper end to your private yacht cruise through.
